About the role
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic, therapeutic, and research radiologic procedures using ionizing radiation.
They independently perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, prepare and administer medications, and ensure accurate data acquisition for diagnosis, with a focus on patient safety and adherence to ALARA principles.
Key Duties:
Obtain correct orders, properly identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history confidentially.
Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and ensure patient safety.
Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
Evaluate images for quality, verify data transfer, and perform post-processing if needed.
Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures in various settings, including operating rooms and ICU.
Qualifications & Skills Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required).
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (preferred).
New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months.
Applicants hired after a specified date must complete steps for level advancement within 24 months.
