About the role
- Initiate policy changes regarding inventory in the company.
- Perform managerial functions, including retraining members of staff of the warehouse if necessary.
- Perform forward and reverse Empty Bins daily.
- Perform Audits of moves and put away.
- Disposition returns to stock items, including cycle count and research if needed.
- Maintain count accuracy (digital and physical counting)
- Follows all existing company policies and procedures.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of their work area.
- Works well with others.
- Uses computerized inventory software to record, track, and maintain all inventory-related data.
- Inventory Specialist skills are needed.
- Education and/or Experience and Other Skills and Abilities: High school diploma/GED required.
- Cherry Picker and Reach Truck experience required.1+ years' experience in inventory management or related field
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Excellent math and accounting skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Job-specific training is required before the start date.
- Work experience in inventory control is strongly preferred.
