Role Description:
This full-time, on-site Service Technician role is based in San Diego, CA. The Service Technician will install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Daily tasks include performing scheduled and preventive maintenance, diagnosing system issues, and completing repairs or replacements of mechanical and electrical components. The role involves field service work at customer locations, detailed documentation of service activities, and clear communication of findings and recommendations. The Service Technician will also provide professional customer service, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, timely solutions.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills for HVAC mechanical systems. Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues. Candidates should possess Field Service experience working on-site at commercial or industrial customer locations. Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build client trust. Relevant HVAC certifications or licenses (such as EPA certification) are beneficial. Experience with commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and controls is preferred. Ability to read technical schematics, use diagnostic tools, and maintain accurate service records. Reliable transportation, willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, and adherence to safety standards.
