About the role
Leading tooling projects from concept to implementation, the full-time Process and Tooling Engineer will manage Blow Molding tooling, process development, and validation activities while providing technical leadership across manufacturing operations in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
Manage tooling project scope, documentation, and vendor interactions to ensure alignment with production standards
Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and optimization to meet performance specifications
Develop and maintain engineering standards and training materials while supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
5 to 8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, or tooling engineering
Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and related vendors
Proficiency in CAD software and understanding of mold design and tooling functionality
Familiarity with statistical analysis, process capability studies, and validation methodologies
