Responsibilities: Own and maintain the social content calendar for 2 of the client's brands, ensuring a consistent pipeline of relevant content. Personally create approximately 30%–50% of content, including memes, short-form video, photography, graphics, and smaller brand shoots. Source and manage freelancers, creators, photographers, and videographers to support additional content needs. Develop content for TikTok, Instagram, Email, SMS, paid social, and emerging platforms. Coordinate with the Brand Manager, Integrated Marketing Manager, and legal team throughout the concept and approval process.
Candidate Profile: 3+ years of social media content creation and channel-management experience. Strong portfolio demonstrating platform-native content, especially short-form video, memes, photography, and graphics. Comfortable independently shooting, editing, designing, writing, and publishing content on quick timelines. Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom, CapCut, and social publishing platforms. Deep understanding of social trends, internet culture, and content that resonates with younger consumers. Experience sourcing and managing creators, freelancers, and production partners. Able to distinguish between brand voices and balance creativity with performance insights and legal requirements. Beverage alcohol or consumer-facing CPG experience preferred; must be Chicago-based and comfortable with a hybrid schedule and occasional travel.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
