Job TitleSubsea Robotics Operations Coordinator
Job Description: As directed by the SSR Operations Manager, coordinate personnel allocation and utilization to support operational requirements. Assist with field personnel coordination, operational equipment readiness, and operational support activities. This is a U.S.-based hybrid position requiring occasional travel and participation in an on-call rotation, including after-hours and weekend support.
Responsibilities: Essential:
  • Participates in all HSE, Quality and Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Under the direction of the Operations Manager, works closely with Operations functions to coordinate personnel travel, immigration, training, certification, competency, and deployment documentation requirements while maintaining visibility of personnel readiness for assignment.
  • Monitors personnel training, certification, competency, travel, and immigration compliance requirements and assists with personnel mobilization activities by coordinating deployment documentation and readiness requirements.
  • Monitors systems preventive maintenance and disbursing data to management and offshore teams.
  • Communicates with other business groups to ensure that all parts, tools, and system needs are met.
  • Monitors Inventory Management for each system, including cycle counts and accuracy.
  • Monitors audit process, ensuring that systems audits are closed out timely.
  • Assist Operations with the closure of non-conformances
  • Assists Operations Managers with allocating personnel as required to man all Subsea Robotics and OPG offshore activities, as needed
  • Organize teams in support of operational excellence initiatives as directed by Operations Managers.
  • Conducts periodic site visits.
Qualifications
Required: Three (3) years oilfield experience and/or one year of personnel logistics experience. Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications. Must be able obtain/maintain a valid passport and be able to obtain visas for international travel. Desired: Working knowledge of offshore survey operations, survey equipment deployment, personnel mobilization, and field support activities. High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Bachelor of Science or Bachelor or Arts Degree Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics: Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. Ability to work in a team environment, remaining attentive to ideas, recognizing responsibilities, and actively participating with others to accomplish assignments and achieve desired goals. Treats others fairly and with respect. Knowledge of department's policies, rules, regulations, business goals, vision, organizational structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles and values, etc. Ability to establish and maintain project priorities. Seeks out new learning experiences. Identifies what needs to be done and takes action before being asked or required.
Working Conditions: Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night. Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place. Work surface is stable (flat).
