Job Title: Manufacturing Technician Location: Ann Arbor, MI Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Pay: $21.00/hour Daily Responsibilities: Primary activities include: Checking email and daily tasks Wearing required PPE Learning how to handle glass Cleaning, holding, and inspecting glass Working with minor chemicals (e.g., alcohol, acetone, methanol) Observing first, then doing (watch-and-learn approach) Speaking up if something feels off Cleanroom Environment Details: (Please give clear information to candidates.)Cleanroom has: No windows, Red and yellow (sodium vapor) lighting Some people struggle with: Long periods in darker environments. Gowning/degowning requirements PPE requirements include: Jumpsuit, gloves, mask, bouffant, beard cover (if applicable) No strong perfume or heavy makeup No contact lenses; must wear glasses in some laser areas No bathroom inside the cleanroom (must exit and regown) Interview: One interview with a facility tour Approx. 1 hour-1 hour 15 minutes. 45 minutes for the tour. Candidate may meet: Hiring Manager and teammates. Dress Code & Shoes No formal uniform EH shirt provided after hire Clean tennis shoes required for cleanroom Shoes remain onsite After conversion, options include cleanroom footwear instead of booties
