About the Opportunity: We are seeking cleared ServiceNow professionals with deep platform expertise to support a high-visibility, mission-critical federal intelligence program based in Chantilly, VA.This initiative focuses on modernizing customer enterprise applications using low-code/pro-code solutions, workflow automation, and robust enterprise governance across critical platform domains: Security Operations (SecOps), Integrated Risk Management (IRM / GRC), Continuous Authorization and Monitoring (CAM / RMF), and Enterprise Architecture. We have multiple openings accommodating both strategic technical leaders and hands-on implementation specialists.
Key Responsibilities: Platform Solutioning & Architecture: Translate complex business, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements into durable technical architectures, solution designs, and sprint backlogs. Security & Risk Automation: Design and configure workflows supporting security incident management, vulnerability handling, policy compliance, continuous authorization, and risk assessments. RMF & ATO Modernization: Support the automation of the Risk Management Framework (NIST SP 800-37) and continuous monitoring (NIST SP 800-53) to streamline system authorization packages, control assessments, and POA&M remediation. Technical Governance & Code Quality: Oversee or participate in Technical Review Boards (TRBs), conduct code reviews, evaluate update sets, and direct production deployment releases. Hands-on Configuration & Scripting: Develop custom logic, automated workflows, and business rules using JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub. Enterprise Integrations: Build and maintain secure integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, LDAP, SSO, and external API connectors to integrate third-party cyber tools and data feeds. Agile Delivery & Collaboration: Actively participate in sprint ceremonies, user story grooming, technical demos, and knowledge-sharing workshops with government stakeholders and engineering peers.
Basic Qualifications
Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI) is required.
Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in the IT/technical domain, with extensive delivery experience across the ServiceNow platform ecosystem.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
Location: Must be able to report on-site to a secure facility (SCIF) in Chantilly, VA.Core Skills: Solid foundation in ServiceNow platform administration, development best practices, ITIL standards, and Agile methodologies.
Desired Technical Domains & Module Expertise: Candidates with hands-on proficiency or architectural experience in one or more of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply:
  • SecOps: Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) integrations and playbooks.
  • IRM / GRC & CAM: Policy & Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Management, and Continuous Authorization and Monitoring (CAM).Federal Cyber Frameworks: Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, ATO lifecycles, STIGs, and POA&M tracking.
  • Platform Core & Automation: ITSM, ITOM, CMDB/CSDM, App Engine, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Portal, and Glide scripting.
  • Relevant Certifications (Held or Target)
  • Baseline Platform: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).Architecture: ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Presales Architect Accreditation.
  • Specialist / CIS: CIS in Risk & Compliance (IRM/GRC), SecOps (SIR/VR), ITSM, HRSD, or ITOM.Cybersecurity & Methodology: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or ITIL 4 Foundation.
