The Machine Operators in Stevens Point, WI safely and efficiently performs a variety of tasks in an industrial environment involving motorized vehicles, rotating equipment, manual and power tools, and production lines. Responsibilities include operating machinery, conducting quality checks, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Shifts Available:1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM [Monday through Friday]2nd Shift Hours: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM [Monday through Friday]OT include Saturdays as needed. Probationary training may be required on 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM).
Pay Range: $22.22 to $23.30/hr. ($.45/hr. shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts)

Roles Responsibilities:
  • Set ups and operates various machines and equipment
  • Conduct required quality checks and completes required documentation (e.g., scrap sheets, logs, data gathering, first/last piece inspection reports)
  • Performs required preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment, machine, and process problems.
  • May use hand and power tools to assemble products and package components.
  • Follows verbal and written instructions, including blueprints, and uses computer for production-related tasks
  • May operate various material handling equipment such as power pallet jacks, lifts and packaging wrappers
  • Performs a variety of tasks/roles throughout the day, and rotates from positions as required
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment using 6S principles
  • Regular attendance and ability to work overtime

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
  • Able to use hand/power tools, measuring equipment such as gages, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures
  • Able to communicate effectively, and understand verbal and written instructions
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Preferred Qualification:
  • Previous work experience in a production or industrial environment
  • Able and willing to learn new tasks and train in other positions
