About the role
Looking for a hands-on way to support Petaluma's community gardens? Join us for our Garden Steward Volunteer Days, where we provide ongoing care for our local demonstration gardens while creating meaningful opportunities for community involvement. ?? When? ?? 1st Friday & 3rd Tuesday of each month ? 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM ?? What to Expect These are casual, small-group workdays (typically 1–5 volunteers) where we tackle seasonal garden needs. Tasks may include: ?? Mulching, weeding, planting ?? Pruning (excluding fruit trees) ?? Irrigation fixes & garden assessments (staff-led) ?? Fun projects like plant mapping, signage, or outreach Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just love getting your hands in the dirt, we'd love to have you join us.
