TH Daniels Global Executive Search & Selection have partnered with a leading rigid industrial packaging manufacturer to recruit a Key Account Manager for the Midwest USA.This is a strategic commercial role, responsible for managing and growing key customer relationships across the region. The successful candidate will bring strong sales and account management experience within rigid industrial packaging, industrial containers, steel drums, plastic drums, intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), pails, jerrycans, or related industrial packaging products, alongside a proven ability to drive revenue growth, develop long-term customer partnerships, and identify new business opportunities. To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements: Proven experience in a Key Account Manager, National Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or similar commercial role. Experience within rigid industrial packaging, industrial containers, steel drums, plastic drums, IBCs, pails, jerrycans, closures, or related packaging products. Demonstrated success managing strategic customer accounts and delivering sustained revenue growth. Strong understanding of industrial packaging applications across chemical, lubricant, petrochemical, coatings, agricultural, food ingredients, and specialty materials markets. Strong communication, presentation, and customer relationship management skills. Willingness to travel throughout the Midwest region as required. Key Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: Manage and develop a portfolio of key strategic accounts across the Midwest region. Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership. Identify opportunities to expand existing business through cross-selling, upselling, and new product introductions across the rigid packaging portfolio. Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer objectives and company growth targets. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities across industrial packaging markets. Consistently achieve and exceed sales, revenue, and margin objectives.
