Foundry Lead Industrial Foundry Lead Pay Range: $24.78 - $33.10 per hour Location: West Tulsa Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 AM – 1:30 PM, Fri & Sat as needed Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Foundry Lead to support daily foundry operations and assist the Foundry Supervisor with department leadership. This role is responsible for performing a variety of foundry production tasks while helping coordinate workflow, support production planning, and provide leadership in the supervisor's absence. The ideal candidate will have strong foundry experience, leadership skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to operational requirements with minimal training.
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Minimum 2 years of foundry experience Experience with mold making Experience with melting and pouring operations Knowledge of finish room functions Previous leadership or supervisory experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision Primary Responsibilities: Perform daily foundry operations including: Core making Mold making Mold closing Sand testing Melting operations Pouring molten metal Shakeout processes Casting cleaning and finishing Assist the Foundry Supervisor with daily operations Coordinate department workflow and provide leadership in the supervisor's absence Support production planning activities Provide schedules and production updates to the planning department Maintain a safe and productive work environment Perform additional duties as assigned Follow all company safety, health, environmental, and operational policies and procedures Preferred Experience: 3+ years of experience in two or more of the following areas: Pattern shop/storage Core making Mold making Mold closing Induction melting Pouring Shakeout Abrasive blasting Gating and riser removal Grinding Casting inspection and touch-up 1+ year of experience operating: Forklifts Overhead cranes Front-end loaders
