About the role
Customer Service Manager Every grain has somewhere to be. You'll lead Sun Foods' US Customer Service function, owning everything from order management and data integrity to escalations and international trade compliance. Apply Now $100,000 - $110,000 Sun Foods In-office Operations | Manufacturing | Supply Chain Sacramento, CAAbout Sun Foods Sun Foods is a rice milling, distribution, and marketing company and the owner of Hinode, a brand created by the California-based Rice Growers Association in the 1930s. Based in California's Central Valley, where rice has been grown for over 100 years, Hinode works with international partners in rice-growing regions around the world to offer a full range of domestic and imported varieties, and the brand is growing significantly. Sun Foods is guided by values of integrity, collaboration, innovation, and community, and holds itself to doing the "hard right" over the "easy wrong" in how it treats people, serves customers, and shows up in its communities.
What You Will Do:
In this role, you'll lead the Customer Service function across Sun Foods' domestic and international business, owning the full order lifecycle from placement through fulfillment. You'll be the person who keeps customer, order, and shipment data accurate across systems, resolves escalations before they become bigger problems, and works across Sales, Planning, Operations, Logistics, and Finance to keep the business moving.
Who You Are:
You're a Customer Service or Supply Chain leader who's comfortable owning the full order lifecycle, not just handling escalations as they come in. Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
