About the role

An established real estate investment, development, and property management firm is looking to add a Property Accountant to its property accounting team, with a focus on a commercial mixed use portfolio. The team is working to automate a lot of its reporting, so you'll help manage automation efforts alongside leadership.
What You'll Do: Maintain and update workbook based financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial, mixed use operating assets while those reports are being automated Work closely with leadership on the rollout of new automated reporting tools Review and audit automated reports for accuracy once the new systems are in place Prepare and record journal entries Reconcile general ledger accounts Manage commercial accounts receivable Support the annual recovery (CAM/expense recovery) process for the commercial portfolio Serve as a point of contact for commercial tenants on accounting related questions
