Compassionate Sales Professional Needed – Build a Purpose-Driven Sales Career as a Family Advisor at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery and Mausoleum Income potential: $ 70- 75 K (Base + Commissions + Bonus) Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery & Mausoleum – Dayton, Ohio Dayton Memorial Park is seeking a compassionate, goal-driven Family Advisor to help families navigate both immediate cemetery needs and prearrangement planning in a professional, caring way. This full-time role blends sales and service, with an annual income potential of approximately $70,000 to $75,000, combining base salary, commission, and a monthly bonus plan.
About the Role: As a Family Advisor, you will: Guide families through cemetery arrangements at the time of loss, providing clarity, comfort, and support during a difficult and emotional experience. Educate and assist families in making preneed cemetery plans so they can protect their wishes and relieve future emotional and financial burdens from loved ones. Present cemetery property and memorialization options in a clear, compassionate, and professional manner, both in person and by phone/email/zoom calls. Utilize proven business development and prospecting systems to contact individuals and groups within the greater Dayton community to provide advance planning resources for final arrangements. Maintain an organized workflow, manage follow-up activities, and achieve monthly sales targets through self-directed prospecting and appointment setting. Use cemetery software to document arrangements, maintain accurate records, and ensure seamless service from first contact through follow-up.

What You Bring: We are looking for candidates who: Have sales or client-facing experience in cemetery/funeral, insurance, financial planning, real estate, or similar consultative roles; strong customer service experience without a formal sales background will also be considered. Demonstrate high emotional intelligence, genuine empathy, and the ability to support people who are grieving or under stress. Are self-directed, disciplined, and goal-driven, with a proven ability to set daily/weekly work plans, work independently, and consistently reach or exceed sales targets. Possess strong organizational and computer skills, including proficiency with email, calendars, and basic office software platforms. Communicate clearly and professionally, both in person and in writing, and are comfortable educating families about options and costs. Can work effectively with both families at the time of loss and families pre-planning for final expenses.
