About the role
We are looking for a Fund Valuation Analyst to join a team in Boston, Massachusetts and contribute to the accuracy and integrity of data that supports mutual fund pricing and daily valuation activities. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone with a background in fund administration, investment operations, or securities data who enjoys detailed analysis and problem-solving. The role requires strong coordination, sound judgment, and the ability to work onsite five days per week while supporting consistent valuation processes.
Responsibilities:
Review and maintain security reference information used in mutual fund valuation and pricing workflowsInvestigate data exceptions, pricing discrepancies, and missing security details by conducting research across internal and external sourcesSupport net asset value-related processes by helping ensure valuation inputs are complete, accurate, and timelyPartner with fund accounting, investment operations, and related teams to resolve issues affecting securities setup and valuation qualityAnalyze federal securities and other investment instruments to confirm required attributes are properly reflected in reference data recordsUse Excel and other research tools to organize findings, reconcile information, and document changes made to security recordsMonitor daily valuation support activities and escalate issues that could affect reporting deadlines or pricing accuracyAssist with operational updates or process changes that impact reference data maintenance and fund valuation support
