- Mobile Device Management (MDM) PlatformsPOSITION OVERVIEWOperating within the core infrastructure department and reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role solves the critical business challenge of extending robust remote management and hardware-level capabilities from Linux into the macOS ecosystem. The incumbent will develop advanced thin client management solutions for Mac Minis operating within enterprise Windows 11 VDI environments.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement remote management capabilities for macOS hardware, peripherals, and thin client terminals within virtualized environments.
- Engineer solutions close to the hardware layer leveraging OSX internals and Core APIs using C, C++, Swift, or Golang.
- Integrate new management features seamlessly into existing team CI/CD development pipelines.
- Optimize thin client behavior and hardware performance within Citrix and VMware Horizon VDI deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional platform teams to transition proven remote management frameworks from Linux to the Mac ecosystem.
