About the role
As a remote full-time Generator Strategy Leader, the successful candidate will define the future-state supply chain for generator sourcing and manufacturing, driving high-level commodity strategy decisions that optimize Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) principles across Gas Power and GE Vernova.
Key responsibilities:
Own the Make-Buy landscape, technology, and capacity decisions for generator production
Lead and drive commodity strategy decisions impacting product configuration and value chain positioning
Influence delivery, quality, and cost metrics for new units and services through cross-functional project leadership
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, or a related discipline
6 years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or related fields
Experience applying Lean and process-improvement methodologies to complex challenges
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage multiple high-priority workstreams
