Digital Press Operator / Print Finishing Specialist Artisan Colour, a leading commercial printing and marketing fulfillment company based in Scottsdale, Arizona, is seeking highly skilled and experienced Digital Press Operators / Print Finishing Specialists to join our production team. We currently have two full-time openings: one for first shift and one for second shift. We're passionate about delivering exceptional quality and exceeding client expectations, and that starts with having the best talent operating our state-of-the-art equipment. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the daily output of our digital presses, ensuring flawless print production, maintaining equipment for optimal performance, and adhering to strict quality control standards. Finishing Work: Perform a variety of finishing techniques, including bindery, cutting, creasing, folding, stitching, and drilling, with precision and attention to detail. Quality Champion: Meticulously inspect printed materials to ensure they meet our high standards for quality and consistency. Maintenance Expert: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on our digital presses, including changing inks, replenishing consumables, and troubleshooting any issues. Color Management: Maintain accurate color calibration throughout press runs, making adjustments as needed to meet client specifications. Safety First: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications: Proven Experience: A minimum of two years of hands-on experience setting up, running, and troubleshooting digital presses. Finishing Skills: Demonstrated ability to perform digital finishing operations independently, including bindery, laminating, die-cutting, folding and UV varnishing. Technical Proficiency: Strong technical, mechanical, and computer skills are essential. Color Matching: Exceptional color-matching skills and the ability to pass a color vision deficiency test. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities. Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients. Schedule Full-time, with overtime as needed First shift or second shift (both are 8-hour shifts).Monday through Friday Occasional weekends Why Join Artisan Colour?
