Prep coils for Mill, Tension Leveler, Electric Furnace, and Gas Furnace. Prep rewind after spotting defect. Duties include operating machinery, loading coils, removing scrap and paper waste, and removing finished coils. This position also functions as the data entry clerk to properly label and tag identify all metal coils. Responsible for the overall quality of each coil that is processed through the prep line. Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Sufficient ability to maintain records and reports.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).Understanding of production procedures.
- Analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Teamwork and communication skills
