About the role
- Lead and supervise water damage mitigation projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and direct crew members on-site
- Ensure proper use of drying equipment, tools, and safety gear
- Perform water extraction, structural drying, and demolition when necessary
- Document work thoroughly using job management software and proper paperwork
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and project managers
- Monitor moisture levels and progress throughout the job
- Train and mentor technicians to ensure consistent performance
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and vehicle
- Minimum 2 years of experience in water damage restoration or mitigation
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferredIICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification required or must be obtained within 90 days
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and be on your feet for extended periods
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Must be available for occasional after-hours and weekend work as needed
