In addition to managing front desk operations, this role provides cross-functional administrative support across multiple departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service.This individual acts as a central resource and connector within the organizationproactively coordinating communications, supporting internal initiatives, and ensuring inquiries and requests are directed efficiently and accurately throughout the business.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary receptionist for the local facility by greeting visitors, answering phones, and managing general office communicationsMaintain a welcoming, professional, and customer-focused front office environmentCoordinate incoming mail, packages, and office-related administrative tasksMaintain the company directory to ensure accurate employee and departmental contact informationOrder food and catering for meetings, events, and company activities as neededPrint and prepare Assembly Parts books and related materials for the Assembly teamCreate, maintain, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to receptionist and administrative responsibilitiesTrain and support daily substitutes and backup coverage personnel during planned or unplanned absencesSupport team member engagement activities and site coordination efforts as neededCross-Functional Business Support:Coordinate company-sponsored sporting event tickets and related team member/customer communicationsAssist with process improvements and administrative coordination across departmentsServe as the primary point of contact and coordinator for company Golf Tournament and Veterans Day eventsCoordinate company charity collections and employee donation initiativesServe as a reliable resource for team members and departments requiring general operational supportQualifications:Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and customer service orientationAbility to work cross-functionally and build collaborative relationshipsProficiency in Microsoft Office and general business systemsStrong attention to detail and follow-throughPreferred Characteristics:Resourceful, adaptable, and proactiveComfortable managing a wide variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrates initiative and a willingness to support evolving business needsTeam-oriented with a positive and service-driven mindsetAt Barry-Wehmiller we recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.
