About the role
Quality Control Worker We are seeking a Quality Control Worker to join a manufacturing team. This position is responsible for inspecting products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure they meet company quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products for quality and accuracy. Perform visual inspections and measurements to identify defects or inconsistencies. Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment. Compare products against blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Identify and document defective or non-conforming products. Communicate quality issues to production supervisors and management. Assist with investigating the cause of quality problems and identifying corrective actions. Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and production processes to ensure quality standards are consistently followed. Work closely with production employees to prevent recurring quality issues. Ensure products are properly labeled, inspected, and approved before shipment. Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures. Maintain a clean and organized inspection/work area.
Qualifications:
Previous quality control or quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and production math and measurement skills. Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other inspection equipment is a plus. Ability to identify defects and communicate quality concerns effectively. Good written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills for entering inspection results and maintaining records. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
