Electrical Design Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university 2–5 years of civil engineering experience Experience with site development, grading, drainage, underground utilities, and roadway design Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, including surface modeling, grading, alignments, profiles, and utility design Working knowledge of applicable civil engineering codes, standards, and permitting requirements. Experience preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction packages. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Insight Global is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team in our Houston, TX office. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, analysis, and execution of civil engineering projects supporting industrial facilities in the energy, chemical, and manufacturing sectors. This role will develop engineering deliverables for site development, grading, drainage, underground utilities, roadways, and related infrastructure while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions. The projects they support are small and fast paced, and this person must be comfortable handling multiple projects with different end clients at the same time. The Civil Engineer will support project managers throughout all phases of engineering and construction, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, client specifications, and company quality standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
