Garver seeks a Municipal Project Manager to join our Transportation Team in Overland Park, KS or Kansas City, MO to continue providing reputable service and contributing to our award‐winning culture.ResponsibilitiesProject management Sub‐consultant coordination Project/task scheduling Civil design Plan production oversight Preparing cost estimates Quality control Training other engineers Client relationship building Technical experience should include: Geometric design for roadways/intersections 3D design experience Drainage design Construction sequencing and traffic control Marketing activities may include assisting in the production of proposals, as well as participation in interviews and other presentations.RequirementsBachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Missouri and Kansas, or ability to obtain reciprocity Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience Practical working knowledge of AASHTO Green Book, Roadside Design Guide, and MUTCD Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer or InRoads and/or other roadway design software Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong working knowledge of MS Office Preferred Skills Previous experience in consulting engineering with a focus on Kansas City Metro and/or Missouri municipal clients 3D design experience Utility relocation coordination experience Grow With Us Garver offers programs such as company‐paid professional memberships, support for industry licenses and continuing education opportunities.We provide tools, resources, and an environment to develop leaders, stimulate ideas, and accomplish projects.
