Business AnalystIDEALFORCE has a contract position available immediately for a Business Analyst to join our customer in Phoenix, Arizona. This is an ONSITE position. Please find below additional details about this job. Client is considering only LOCAL CANDIDATES for this role.The ideal candidate must have IT Business Analyst experience with a background in finance and/or accounting. Financial system implementation experience is not needed, but experience with budgets, invoices, and payment calculation is required.Job DescriptionUnderstand what the business does and how it does itIdentify project scope and collect business requirements; analyze business functional requirements to identify information, procedures and decision flowsConduct preliminary investigation for all project requests; reviews requirements, specifications, test, support and training plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives on projectsPrepare business process maps and high-level work flows, methodology and business, workflowMeet with stakeholders individually and in JAD sessions to define detailed business requirementsDevelop and document requirements in Use Case, Functional Specification, WireframesIdentify candidate business processes for redesign; determine how to improve existing business process; identify modifications to automated processesDrive and uncover large and complex requirements across systems and business domains; understands the integration of processes across systemsCommunication of technical information to a non-technical audience; communication of business information to a technical audienceCoordinate testing efforts with Quality AssuranceQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferredMinimum of 4 years' practical experience in business/finance analysis requiredMinimum of 3 years' experience in scrum/agile environments; Scrum certification preferredExperience gathering requirements from the client/business and documentingExperience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes requiredAble to communicate analysis and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally requiredAble to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data required.Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) required.Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures requiredKnowledge of current Microsoft.NET technologies including C#, VB.NET, ASP.Net, and SharePoint highly preferredWorking knowledge of Team Foundation Services 2012 preferredStrong aspiration to learn new technologiesDemonstrated ability to use discretion and make sound decisionsAble to maintain confidentialityAble to excel in a collaborative and distributed team environmentAble to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed of project related issuesAble to work under pressureAble to respectfully question ideas and share a point of view with others in support of the business requirements and needsAble to effectively communicate with various levels of employees ranging from entry level to senior leadershipProven strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and root cause analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven strong relationship-building and communication skills with team members and business usersExperience in the education industry preferredAdditional Information- "All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines". - All candidates who are authorized to work in US are encouraged to apply. - Candidates must clear the Background check prior to commencing the assignment.
