About the role
- Build AI features that sit inside real clinical workflows, such as checking a note against payer and compliance requirements before a clinician finalizes itDesign the evals that tell us whether those features are actually right, and keep them honest as models change
- Spend real time with clinicians and billers to understand the workflow before you build
- Prototype new AI capabilities, including voice agents, and take the ones that work all the way to production
- Work closely with our CTO on where AI should change the product next
- What we look for
- Strong engineering skills and hands-on experience shipping LLM-based features to real users
- Rigor about evaluation: you measure whether a model is right before you trust itThe judgment to know when AI is the answer and when it isn'tComfort talking to customers and translating messy workflows into precise requirements
- A strong quantitative or research background is a plus

- Base salary $170K to $275K plus equity, based on level of experience
