Christmas Van DriverALM-Coastal Alabama Area Command - Mobile, AL 36604 Salary Range $11.00 - $11.00 Hourly Position Type Seasonal Part Time Education Level High School Diploma/GEDSchedule/Hours: Days/hours vary This position is responsible for: Drives a Salvation Army vehicle in order to transport passengers to and from Salvation Army activities including kettle or angel tree sites. Pick-up and deliver donated items and other supplies.
Key Responsibilities: Drives a Salvation Army vehicle during the Christmas season in order to transport passengers to and from Salvation Army activities or sites Picks up and delivers miscellaneous items and donated goods, as needed Ability to drive a passenger vehicle ensuring the safety of passengers and protection of the vehicle. Observes traffic signs and regulations. Logs all mileage on standard forms. Fuels vehicles in accordance with standards Ability to relate to the general public in a polite, friendly manner Physical Requirements and
Working Conditions: Work involves driving a vehicle where there may be physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with long distance trips or heavy traffic.
What We Are Looking For: In You: Valid State Driver's License required High School Diploma or GEDTwo years' experience operating an automotive vehicle or any equivalent combination of training and experience
