Job Description: Help Move More Than Furniture. Help Build Homes. Looking for a hands-on job that makes a difference? Join Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity as a Mover & Driver and help collect donations that support affordable housing for local families across the Cape Fear region.
Schedule: Monday-Saturday availability 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Pay Range: $17.77 - $18.27 / hour
What You'll Do:
  • Pick up, load, transport, and unload donated items
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors and community members
  • Assist with operating a box truck and safely securing loads
  • Complete donation receipts and required paperwork
  • Maintain clean trucks, donation areas, and warehouse spaces
  • Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws
What We're Looking For:
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to lift and move 75+ pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand, bend, squat, climb, and perform physical work throughout the day
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills
  • Box truck, moving, or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required
  • Commitment to Habitat's mission of building homes, communities, and hope
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review required
