For more information, visit SolomonEdwards.Title: Technical Revenue AccountantOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Director-level Revenue Consultant to support complex, high-visibility commitment deals. This role sits at the intersection of technical accounting and deal operations, focused on translating ASC 606 accounting assessments into financial and operational execution.This consultant will assist in thinking through and structuring deals. You must be highly technical, creative, and able to play an advisory role while working with deal teams, sales teams, and accounting teams to determine the best contract structures. Experience in a hypergrowth environment is required.Key ResponsibilitiesOperationalize technical accounting assessments (ASC 606) for complex, non-standard dealsTranslate accounting conclusions into financial executionManage and execute manual workflows to support revenue recognition and deal accountingAct as a liaison between technical accounting and operational teamsAdapt to changing processes and business requirements in a dynamic environmentRequired QualificationsStrong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principlesExperience in revenue accounting, preferably in a tech/SaaS backgroundBackground in both technical accounting and operational executionAbility to interpret technical accounting guidance without needing to write formal memosHigh attention to detailProven ability to work with urgency and meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environmentsExperience working on complex, non-routine dealsPreferred QualificationsExperience in hypergrowth companies or Bay Area–based environmentsExperience with Oracle ERPStrong Excel skillsExperience with SQLAdaptability and willingness to learn in evolving operational environmentsTravel RequirementsNo travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be provided to qualified applicants or candidates with disabilities upon request. We take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles.
