Audiology Technician On-call Aldevra is currently seeking an Audiology Technician to assist Audiologist in the performance of audiologic evaluations and the fitting of hearing aids. Provide direct patient support for walk-in and telephone hearing aid problems. The ideal candidate will already align with our core values of SOAR (Strong Integrity and Ethics, Outstanding Teamwork, Accountability-Driven and Relentless Pursuit of Quality).The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Assist Audiologist in Audiological Evaluations Taking accurate ear mold impressions Preparing the mold for shipping Tracking hearing aid orders and communicating with vendors Monitoring supplies Routine repairs of hearing aids Clean and maintain audiologic equipment in accordance with OSHA standards Provide chart review as needed Instruct clients in the proper maintenance, cleaning and use of hearing aids and/or assisted listening devices (ALD) Communicating and documenting patient education and reports in the medical record Cerumen Management May routinely be required to do a variety of previously unforeseen tasks in order to assist with the smooth function of the Audiology clinic Aldevra was founded in 2009 by current President & CEO Rodney Marshall, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and minority entrepreneur. Qualifications:- High school graduate or equivalent and training
- One-year experience as Audiology Technician is preferred
- One-year previous medical experience or training in medical fields (such as medical assistant, lab assistant, LPN).Dependable, professional, punctual and must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently
- Authorized to work in the United States for any employer
- Provide proof of the following tests:
- Tuberculosis Skin Test (TST) or interferon-gamma release assays (IGRA)
- Measles, Mumps, and Rubella
- VaricellaAcellular Pertussis
- InfluenzaOSHA regulation concerning occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens

Pay Range:
$22-26 an hour, depending on experience, certification, qualifications, and customer/site requirements.
