About the role
Job Description:
The Concrete Mixer Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the concrete mixer truck on regular local routes. Working independently, the driver manages vehicle inspections and maintenance reporting daily to ensure operational reliability and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Operate the concrete mixer truck safely and reliably on assigned local routes Control the mixer to maintain concrete quality during transport Comply with all safety regulations and company policies Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules Manage load to prevent spillage or damage Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of truck driving experience Proven ability to operate heavy vehicles safely Strong knowledge of safety compliance and regulations Skilled in route navigation and time management Ability to perform vehicle maintenance and inspections Effective communication skills Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job
