About the role

Breakfast AideJoin our dedicated team at Nottingham School as a Breakfast Aide, where you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and nourishing start to our students' day. This part-time position (one hour daily) offers a friendly and supportive environment, allowing you to engage with students while contributing to their overall well-being.
Responsibilities: Prepare and serve breakfast items in accordance with health and safety regulations. Assist in setting up and cleaning the breakfast area before and after service. Ensure that all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly stored. Monitor students during breakfast to ensure a safe and respectful environment. Assist students with their meal choices and promote healthy eating habits. Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a smooth breakfast service. Report any issues or concerns regarding food quality or student behavior to the appropriate personnel. Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in food service or working with children is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. Must be able to lift and carry food items and equipment as needed. Flexibility to work early morning hours on weekdays. A positive attitude and a passion for supporting children's health and well-being.
