As a Licensed Dental Assistant at Apple Tree Dental, you will play a crucial role in our mission by: Assisting our dentists in providing exceptional dental care Building rapport and trust with patients and their families Providing chairside assistance during procedures and treatments Educating patients on oral health practices and preventive care Maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment The Heart of the Role: Demonstrate a passion for embodying Apple Tree Dental's mission, vision, and values. Show proficiency in dental assisting techniques across all phases of general dentistry. Have knowledge of modern dental materials, including storage, handling, and applications. Be able to multitask, prioritize assignments, and adhere to schedules, deadlines, and protocols. Possess empathetic and professional communication skills when addressing the expectations and concerns of ATD's dental patients. Collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse social, ethnic, and economic backgrounds. Be proficient in or willing to learn computer skills and systems such as Open Dental software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant platforms as required. Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required, along with completion of an accredited dental assisting course Active licensure in Minnesota, DANB certification, or equivalent state jurisprudence for performing specified tasks Current CPR (BLS)Proficiency in oral and written communication in English
