Learn more about our firm at www.thethinkers.com.Primary Responsibilities Prepare federal and state income tax returns, including corporate, partnership, S corporation, trust, and individual returns Gather, organize, and analyze client financial information and supporting documentation needed for tax return preparation Provide accounting and financial services to entrepreneurial small-business clients Assist with tax planning and research tax issues, as needed Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships Respond to client inquiries and tax authority notices Assist with client projects and other tax and accounting assignments
Qualifications: We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic professional with an upbeat outlook to join our team and contribute to the needs of our growing client base. Strong candidates for this position should be motivated, reliable and possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with 1-3 years of public accounting experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Word
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online
  • Experience with AI-assisted tax research and compliance automation tools
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters in a tactful and discreet manner
  • Strong interpersonal and client-service skills, including the capability to effectively present information and respond to clients’ needs
  • A willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility
