The Opportunity: The company runs about 5 custom home and major remodel projects at a time and is looking for an experienced Project Manager who can own the financial and schedule details of high-end builds without missing a beat across multiple job sites. This is a hands-on role - Project Managers here do their own estimating, budgeting, and scheduling, with no layer of superintendents in between - so you'll need to be as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are on a job site walking a client through their kitchen selections.
Key Responsibilities: Manage roughly 5 concurrent high-end custom residential projects, from permitting through final walkthrough Own project financials - budgets, cost tracking, draws, and change orders - with strong Excel-based reporting Develop and maintain project schedules and procurement logs Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trade partners on site Serve as the primary point of contact for discerning homeowners, architects, and designers throughout the build Ensure quality control and adherence to plans, specifications, and local building codes Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation What You Bring 8+ years of project management experience in high-end/luxury custom residential construction Strong financial acumen - comfortable owning project budgets and cost reporting; proficient in Excel Proven track record delivering large custom home projects on time and on budget Excellent client-facing communication skills; comfortable working directly with high-net-worth homeowners Located on the North Shore of MA, or open to relocating there Familiarity with Massachusetts residential building codes preferred
