About the role

Talent Acquisition Recruiter | NYC💰 $74k–$90k base + uncapped commission📍 New York City – Rockefeller Center | HybridAre you currently an agency recruiter and considering moving into internal Talent Acquisition? Or maybe you’ve thought about recruiting recruiters? I’m partnering with an established international recruitment business that is investing heavily in its US operations and looking for someone to play a key role in that expansion. This isn’t a typical internal recruitment role. You’ll be proactively headhunting experienced recruiters, building relationships across the market, and partnering directly with senior leadership to help grow teams across the US.Why is it worth considering? Plenty to recruit for: Typically 20+ open vacancies across the region, with further expansion planned across multiple US markets. Uncapped commission: Progressive quarterly commission rates of 10%, 15%, and 30%, rewarding you directly for successful hires. Senior leadership exposure: Work closely with key stakeholders, influence hiring decisions, and become genuinely involved in the growth of the business. An established TA function: You’ll join an experienced team with wider global support rather than having to build everything from scratch. Room to grow: As the US business continues to expand, there will be opportunities to take on more responsibility and develop stronger stakeholder relationships. What will you be doing? The main focus will be hiring experienced recruiters across the US.You’ll own the process from market mapping and proactive headhunting through to candidate management, interviews, offers, and onboarding support. You’ll also help build future talent pipelines, manage referrals, share market intelligence with leadership, and contribute to wider talent attraction initiatives. Who could be a good fit? Internal TA professionals currently working within recruitment agencies. Rec2Rec recruiters interested in moving into an internal TA function. Successful 360 agency recruiters who enjoy headhunting, relationship-building, and the commercial side of recruitment, and want to be part of a company that’s in a real growth phase. Candidates need at least 2 years of agency recruitment experience, strong candidate engagement and management, relationship-building skills, commercial awareness, and a good understanding of what motivates experienced recruiters to consider a move. If you enjoy the sales and headhunting side of recruitment but would like to be more directly involved in the growth of one business, feel free to apply or message me directly!

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
