Job Description:
Mammoth Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Lodge Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our lodge at Maverick in Haskell, Texas. The Lodge Manager will be responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and comfortable environment for employees and guests while overseeing lodge operations, coordinating staff, and ensuring the property is maintained to Mammoth standards. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a remote or field-based environment and can effectively manage day-to-day lodge operations while supporting the needs of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the lodge and ensure the facility is clean, organized, safe, and properly maintained. Coordinate lodging assignments, room availability, and day-to-day guest needs. Supervise and coordinate lodge staff and service providers as needed. Establish and maintain high standards for housekeeping, cleanliness, food service, and general lodge operations. Monitor lodge supplies, inventory, and equipment and coordinate replenishment as needed. Coordinate maintenance and repairs and communicate issues promptly to the appropriate personnel. Ensure company lodging policies and procedures are followed. Maintain accurate records related to lodge operations, supplies, maintenance, and occupancy. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and guests regarding lodge-related needs. Address concerns or issues professionally and work toward timely resolutions. Promote a respectful, professional, and safe environment for everyone staying at the lodge. Coordinate with Mammoth management and field personnel to ensure lodge operations support ongoing project needs. Assist with scheduling and other operational duties as needed. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee and company information. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience managing a lodge, hotel, camp, housing facility, hospitality operation, or similar environment. Previous supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Comfortable working with employees from a variety of backgrounds and job functions. Proficient with basic computer applications, email, and administrative tasks. Must be dependable, professional, and willing to take a hands-on approach to lodge operations. Ability to work the schedule required for the position and remain flexible based on operational needs.
