Compliance AdministratorPosition Summary: Assist the Compliance Manager in processing state surplus lines filings in accordance with established Brown & Riding values, goals, and procedures.Essential Functions:Meets quality standards in preparing and submitting surplus lines filings in a timely and accurate manner according individual state requirements.Prepares and submits filings using manual paperwork or filing websites.Uses periodic reports to ensure timely filing.Reconciles amounts payable to the regulatory agencies in higher volume states.Monitor and track tags received from the state SLA departments and sends weekly report to all applicable parties.Assists Team Lead with training new Compliance staff.Advises on home state determinations based NRRA guidelines.Adds and maintains records for both retail agencies and carriers.Responsible for keeping internal Surplus Lines references up to date.Assists with monitoring the Compliance Helpdesk.Other duties as assignedPosition Requirements - Education, Experience and Skills Required:Exceptional attention to detail, organization, follow-up, oral and written communication skillsAble to work and solve problems independentlyExhibit good listening skills and a willingness to help and support othersIntermediate skill level in PC software (Word, Excel and other software, as required)Utilizes reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusionsPreference for post high school educationCategory: InsuranceLocation: Dallas OfficeAbout the Organization: Brown & Riding is a wholesale insurance brokerage committed to our Mission, Culture, and Values.Our Mission: To achieve the best results for our clients by setting the standard of excellence for the wholesale insurance brokerage industry, and build a great firm that attracts, develops, inspires, and retains outstanding people.Our Culture: Makes us unique and a formidable competitor in the marketplace.
