About the role
- Collaborate on federally-funded behavioral oncology and cancer survivorship research studies
- Play a key role in developing, delivering, and evaluating behavioral interventions for cancer survivors
- Provide clinical expertise through intervention development, intervention delivery, clinical supervision, fidelity monitoring, and interventionist training
- Contribute to scientific manuscripts, conference presentations, data analysis, and grant-related activities
- Work in a highly collaborative environment alongside multidisciplinary research teams
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field
- Licensed Psychologist or license-eligible
- Experience delivering evidence-based behavioral interventions
- Strong interest in behavioral oncology, cancer survivorship, and intervention research
- Excellent communication, scientific writing, and collaboration skills
- Preferred experience working with cancer survivors, medical populations, clinical trials, and/or behavioral research studies
- Assist with the development and evaluation of behavioral interventions for diverse cancer populations
- Deliver manualized behavioral interventions to study participants
- Train, mentor, and support study interventionists
- Provide clinical supervision to study interventionists
- Monitor intervention fidelity to ensure protocol adherence and study quality
- Participate in the design, planning, and conduct of research studies
- Conduct literature reviews
- Collect, manage, analyze, and interpret research data
- Contribute to grant applications, research protocols, progress reports, scientific manuscripts, and presentations
- Attend and participate in scientific conferences, workshops, seminars, and other professional development activities
