About the role

Senior Proposal ManagerWe are searching for a Senior Proposal Manager with extensive experience in Federal proposals, preferably in Defense focused capacity. This person will join an amazing team and bring an immediate impact to assist growth and strategy. This opportunity comes with great benefits and salary while assisting efforts ranging from highly strategic proposals 100M+ to smaller proposals in support of IDIQs and Task Orders. This person must have experience managing government data calls and prepare templates and presentations for RFI, RFQ, RFP, and TO proposals. This role is hybrid – 50% remote based in Huntsville or D.C.Role:This person will be hands on leading the proposal team, including subject matter experts, writers, and graphic designers, to develop a compelling proposal that meets customer needs and requirements.Interfaces daily with Capture Team to understand strategies and develop an annual business development plan.Engaging in Capture discussions and strategies.Analyzing and understanding the RFP requirements and developing a proposal plan that coordinates to Capture.Establishing the appearance and layout of each proposal.Work with SMEs in obtaining technical approach and other specific supporting data for responding to RFP sections.Leading the development of white papers, RFIs, or other influencing documents, as needed.Developing a compliance matrix, initiating a proposal preparation/review schedule, ensuring compliance across the proposal, and driving teams to meet proposal schedule deadlines and deliverables, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality proposals.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in a business, marketing, communications, information technology, engineering, or other relevant field.An active SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain.Minimum of 5 years of experience performing in proposal development, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.Knowledge of federal proposal best practices, industry standards, and federal proposal development
