Job Description

Summary: Food Depot is currently seeking an experienced, full-time Scanner to join our Westside Shopping Center location, located at 2495 Frederick Ave, Baltimore, MD 21223.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for accurately maintaining and executing the pricing data base to POS (point of sale)
To complete all price changes and signage for store in a timely manner.
Understands reports received and action to be taken.
Understands and follows the scanning schedule.
Performs audits of the scanning data.
Perform item comparisons and item deletes on store item files.
Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to maintain pricing integrity. Resources information from various sources as needed. (Corporate contact person, e-mail, store mail, etc.)Maintains shelf labels and signs in all departments.
Performs scan verification weekly.

Qualifications: Ability to bend, twist, reach and standing/walking for long periods. Must be detail oriented. Understands and follows all procedures for completion of mandatory reports.
