Corporate Scheduler (Microsoft Project Specialist) Location: Austin, Texas Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Corporate Scheduler with expertise in Microsoft Project to join our dynamic team. The role involves integrating individual project schedules into a cohesive master schedule for ASV development projects. You will play a crucial role in coordinating activities, managing resource allocation, and ensuring timeline adherence across teams and stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and update project schedules using Microsoft Project, ensuring alignment with project goals and milestones. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Integrate individual project schedules into a cohesive master schedule, identifying dependencies and critical paths. Monitor project progress and performance against established schedules, proactively identifying potential delays or issues.Conduct regular schedule reviews and analysis to optimize resource utilization and efficiency. Provide timely schedule updates and reports to project teams and management, highlighting key metrics and deviations from planned schedules. Support decision-making processes by providing accurate and up-to-date schedule information and analysis. Implement best practices and standard methodologies in schedule management to enhance overall project delivery effectiveness.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Proven experience as a scheduler or project controller, with a focus on using Microsoft Project for complex projects. In-depth knowledge of project scheduling principles, methodologies, and techniques. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends, and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of scheduling and reporting. Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) desirable.
