About the role
Temporary Event Retail Associates needed to support a promotional company during the New York City Marathon Expo at the Javits Center. Associates will assist customers with merchandise purchases, operate an iPad-based POS system, process credit/debit card transactions, provide friendly customer service, and help keep the retail/promotional area organized.
Key duties:
Greeting and assisting customers, ringing up merchandise using an iPad/POS system, processing payments accurately, answering basic product questions, bagging merchandise, and maintaining an organized sales area.
