Responsibilities:
Create quality welds according to blueprints (weld symbols) Inspect welds for accuracyPrepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel/aluminum partsPerform first article inspections as well as subsequent inspectionsRecord proper and accurate entry into the time and attendance systemSkills & Requirements: Education/Training in Robotic WeldingPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably a fabrication environmentPrior experience programming robots is a mustFamiliarity with welding equipment, tools, and proceduresAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionKnowledge of communication set up with robot peripheralsMust have understanding of fabrication techniques via MIG and TIG with Aluminum, Stainless, and Carbon Steel productsGood understanding of mechanical systemsAbility to read schematics and other drawings A self-motivated and hands-on approachAbility to react quickly to changing requirements and new processing developmentsFollow written/verbal instructions and meet deadlines with minimal supervisionBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insuranceAbility to commute/relocate: Glenshaw, PA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Forms+Surfaces is an equal opportunity employer
