About the role

Title: Technical Recruiter (Freelance & Contract, High-Volume)
Location: Remote (US time zones)
Mission Own mid-funnel recruiting for freelance and contract roles across multiple functions. Turn large, tech-generated pipelines into qualified, interview-ready candidates — and feed structured feedback back into our matching technology.
What You’ll Do: Run high-volume pipelines for freelance/contract roles across Eng, Product, Data, Design, GTM, and Ops. Screen candidates (20–30 min): skills, level, rate, availability, work setup, and basic fit vs. role scorecard. Manage process: move candidates through stages, schedule with HMs, keep ATS/CRM clean and up to date. Use advanced tooling: work inside ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, enrichment and automation tools; prefer automation over manual busywork. Be KPI-driven: monitor and improve time-to-first-submit, screen-to-interview, and interview-to-offer for your roles. Improve matching tech: tag/score candidates consistently, flag mismatches, and share concrete feedback with product/data on where recommendations are off.
Must-Haves: 3+ years recruiting or mid-funnel ownership in a high-volume environment (agency, RPO, marketplace, or similar).Experience with freelance/contract roles (not just perm).Exposure to at least two of: Eng, Product, Data/Analytics, GTM, Ops. Fluent with ATS + LinkedIn Recruiter and comfortable with modern tools (enrichment, sequencing, scheduling).Track record of hitting clear KPIs and using data to adjust behavior. Strong written notes; others can trust your summaries without re-interviewing candidates. Genuine interest in tech-enabled recruiting and making the matching engine better, not just “using the tool.”

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
