- Your New Role
- Prepare detailed project estimates using landscape, civil, and architectural plans
- Perform quantity takeoffs and verify project information as needed
- Develop pricing for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project logistics
- Use Sage Estimating and digital takeoff software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, or similar platforms
- Request and evaluate vendor pricing and subcontractor proposals
- Coordinate procurement planning and material buyouts
- Identify scope gaps, project risks, exclusions, and long-lead materials
- Support value engineering efforts and change order pricing
- Maintain estimating records, pricing databases, templates, and documentation
- Work closely with design, sales, procurement, and production teams to support successful project delivery
- Assist with job costing and continuous improvement of estimating processes
