Founded in 2010 and based in Orlando, Davila Homes specializes in custom residential construction with an emphasis on craftsmanship, thoughtful design, personalization, and an exceptional homeowner experience. As one of the largest custom homebuilders at Bella Collina, a luxury golf community in Montverde, we are excited to bring that experience to Marion County for the first time. This is an opportunity to join us at the beginning of our Ocala expansion and help establish Davila Homes' construction presence at IronCrest—from developing local trade relationships to delivering the homes that will introduce the Davila standard of quality and craftsmanship to this new market. This position is based in Ocala, Florida, with primary responsibility for construction at IronCrest.
What You'll Do: Manage all phases of custom residential construction from start through homeowner delivery. Oversee multiple homes while maintaining standards for quality, craftsmanship, schedule, budget, safety, and customer experience. Develop and manage construction schedules, budgets, project milestones, and field activities. Read and interpret architectural plans, construction documents, specifications, and homeowner selections. Direct and hold accountable trade contractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel. Help establish and maintain relationships with qualified local trade partners and vendors as we grow our Ocala operations. Conduct site inspections, proactively resolve construction issues, and maintain rigorous quality assurance standards. Coordinate permitting, inspections, municipalities, and other regulatory requirements. Partner with Davila Homes' Design, Purchasing, Architecture, Sales, Development, and Leadership teams. Build positive relationships with homeowners, trade partners, architects, designers, engineers, suppliers, and inspectors. Lead homeowner orientations, home deliveries, walk-through completion, and warranty support. Maintain clean, organized, professional, and safe jobsites. Demonstrate Davila Homes' Core Values: Acting with Integrity, Building the People, Cultivating Collaboration, Celebrating Success, and Being the Example.
What We're Looking For: 3+ years of residential construction or construction management experience, with responsibility for projects from start through completion. Experience in custom, luxury, semi-custom, or high-quality residential construction strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, building codes, plans, specifications, and construction sequencing. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, budgets, trade partners, and competing priorities. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. Experience with construction management software such as Buildertrend, BuildPro, Procore, MS Project, or similar platforms preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to satisfy applicable background and drug-screening requirements. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required. CCM, PMP, or OSHA certifications are a plus.
Physical Requirements: Candidates must be able to safely navigate active construction sites and multiple flights of stairs, lift and carry up to 50 pounds for short distances, and operate a passenger vehicle. Why Join Davila Homes? This is an exciting opportunity to join Davila Homes at an important point in our growth. As we enter IronCrest and Marion County for the first time, you will have the opportunity to help establish our local construction operation, build relationships within the Ocala market, and deliver the homes that introduce Davila Homes to this exceptional community. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental and vision coverage; 401(k); paid vacation and sick/personal time; paid holidays; and more! If you are passionate about custom residential construction, take pride in exceptional craftsmanship, and want to help bring Davila Homes' next chapter to life at IronCrest, we invite you to apply.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
