About the role

JCW Group has partnered with a specialty insurance carrier to hire a Senior Corporate & Marketing Communications Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a highly visible role supporting corporate and marketing communications initiatives across a global organization. Reporting directly to the Group Corporate & Marketing Communications Lead, you’ll develop and execute communications strategies that align with key business priorities and strengthen the company’s brand and market presence. The role is U.S.-based and offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance communications professional looking to broaden their scope, work across global initiatives, and continue building their career within the industry.
Key Responsibilities: Help shape and execute communications and marketing activity across the organization, supporting both business priorities and broader growth initiatives. Partner with teams across different functions and locations to bring communications projects from concept through to delivery. Develop engaging content for a variety of audiences and platforms, including digital channels, social media, email, presentations, marketing materials, and internal platforms. Monitor the effectiveness of marketing and communications activity, using performance insights to identify opportunities to improve engagement and impact. Coordinate with third-party partners and suppliers to deliver marketing materials, events, campaigns, and other communications projects. Maintain consistency across messaging and brand presentation, ensuring content reflects the organization’s identity and values. Bring new ideas and a creative perspective to campaigns, content, and broader brand-building initiatives.
Must Have Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, or a related role, within the insurance industry. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex or technical information into clear, engaging content for different audiences. Experience taking marketing or communications initiatives from initial idea through launch, including evaluating results and identifying areas for improvement. A proactive and curious approach, with an interest in evolving digital tools, social platforms, analytics, and emerging technologies. Strong understanding of brand consistency and visual presentation, with exposure to creative/design tools considered a plus. Familiarity with digital content platforms, marketing technology, and tools used to track audience engagement and campaign performance. Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, while managing multiple priorities and maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
