About the role
- Safely and efficiently load and unload goods from trucks, railcars and vessels.
- Ensure goods are stored in appropriate locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Loads bulk unit trucks correctly, providing legal weights and proper product for customer delivery or pick up.
- Operate heavy equipment
- Maintaining terminal buildings and equipment in good condition and operating equipment safely.
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, managers, and other stakeholders.
- Fosters a positive work environment and promotes teamwork.
- Support and maintain the company safety program by performing work area inspections, holding safety toolbox talks, and complying with environmental regulations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a secure and clean work environment.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure it is in good working order.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned by management to meet the ongoing needs of operations.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Prior experience with rotating shift work and extended hours is preferred.
- Prior industry experience preferred.
